About SellerSpark

Built by sellers, for sellers.

Our Story

Hi, I'm Greg Pilon. A few years ago, like a lot of people, I stumbled across some TikTok creators talking about print-on-demand and how you could earn a little extra money selling on Etsy. My wife and I thought — why not give it a try?

We opened our Etsy store, got a Canva account, and started creating products. Nothing serious. We'd work on it here and there, casually building our catalog over the next three-plus years. By the time we looked up, we had about 145 products in our store and were generating a couple thousand dollars a year in sales.

Then life got busy. Over the next 12 months we barely touched the store. We didn't add new products. We didn't optimize anything. We just let it run on its own.

And it still made over $1,000 that year.

That stopped us in our tracks. If 145 casually-created products could generate consistent sales with zero attention — what could happen if we actually put some effort in?

The AI Moment

This year, everything changed with AI.

I started experimenting with using AI to help create products, write listings, and research what was actually selling on Etsy. What started as a small project to grow my own store quickly turned into something much bigger.

With AI helping me generate product ideas, write SEO-optimized titles and tags, and create designs — I was able to add hundreds of new products in weeks instead of years. My store started growing faster than ever.

But here's what I kept thinking: I'm not special. If AI can do this for me, it can do this for anyone.

Why We Built SellerSpark

Not everyone has time to spend hours researching trends, writing perfect listing titles, or designing products from scratch. Life is busy. Not everyone is a graphic designer. And honestly, we all have those days where our brain just won't cooperate creatively.

That's exactly why we built SellerSpark.

Every tool in SellerSpark was designed around a real problem I ran into as an Etsy seller:

Can't figure out what to sell?

Trend Tracker and Niche Finder

Listing copy not converting?

Listing Writer and Etsy SEO Optimizer

No design skills?

Product Creator with Aria, our AI design assistant

Not sure how your shop compares?

Shop Evaluator and Competitor Spy

Can't find the right keywords?

Tag Generator and Keyword Research

The goal was never to replace the creativity of sellers — it was to give everyone access to the same AI-powered advantages, whether you're just starting out or trying to scale to your next level.

Who SellerSpark Is For

SellerSpark is built for real sellers — people who are trying to earn a little extra money on the side, stay-at-home parents building something of their own, or full-time entrepreneurs who want to scale their stores without burning out.

You don't need to be a designer. You don't need to be an SEO expert. You don't need to spend hours every week researching trends.

You just need a great idea and SellerSpark handles the rest.

The People Behind SellerSpark

SellerSpark is a product of Open Mind Marketing, based in Norco, California. We build AI-powered tools that help small business owners compete with the big players — without needing a big team or a big budget.

I'm Greg Pilon, founder of Open Mind Marketing and an active Etsy seller myself. We use these tools on our own store every week. When something works, we build it into SellerSpark. When something doesn't, we fix it.

We're building this alongside our users, not ahead of them.

What's Next

We're just getting started. SellerSpark currently supports Etsy sellers but we're building toward Amazon, Shopify, and beyond. Our vision is a platform where any seller — on any platform — can build a thriving store with the help of AI.

If you're an Etsy seller who wants to grow your store, we'd love to have you try SellerSpark.
